Ambassador Rolf Ekeus will address the Council of Europe Seminar "International Legal Guarantees for the Protection of National Minorities and Problems in their Implementation, with a special focus on minority education."

The OSCE Mission in Kosovo and the Kosovo Press Council will hold the first Conference on the State of the Print Media to address problems related to low circulation figures. Financial, educational and economic challenges will be discussed.

This is the second workshop on the Anti-Corruption Action Plan. The aim of the workshops is to ensure successful implementation of the anti-Corruption strategy: law enforcement, prevention and public participation and education.

This is the first of a series of five regional workshops where Citizens' Advisory Groups will be trained on the role of the local self-government, police and citizens in the decentralization process.

Kosovo's Pilot Municipal Units (PMUs) were established in the fall of 2005 and have been supported by the OSCE Mission in Kosovo. A number of meetings will take place to review how the PMUs have progressed during their first year.
